Not sure of the torque, most good tire shops have the OEM recommended numbers. I buy my tires from Americas Tire/Discount Tire. They give free rotation and balances and recommend every 5k. They also use torque wrenchs to tighten down the lugs.

Off the top of my head 85 lbs + or - 5 but I would try to stay like + or -3 lbs...
Thats what all the other bmws are... so i'm just guessing that the E60 is the same...

I have the sport...front and rear are different sizes. My manual is packed as we just moved...tires are starting to sound like a truck.

I am assuming you have a non-sport and the same tires all the way around. For Ultra High Performance Tires, I would rotate every 5k.

My Ride: 2006, US Spec, 530i, Silver Gray, Black leather, Anthricite headliner, Steptronic, Navi Pro, PDC, Comfort Seats, Rear Heated Seats, Rear Shades, Folding Rear Seats, Bluetooth w/Blackberrt Torch, AUX Input, Bi-Xenon, AIB Angel Eyes w/matching fogs, summer wheels R118 w/PS2 tires, winter wheels R138 w/Michelin PA3 snows
I'm afraid you won't be rotating those tires front to back if they are different sizes and side to side is also not recommended. You'll only rotate when all the tires have the same size. Mine get rotated every 10K.
