Just drove my friends 2004 545i with the sport package, I was adjusting the seats, and couldn't find the adjustments for the lumbar.... does the 545i sport have lumbar adjustments?

I have a 2005 545i on order, and the bmwusa site says 4 way power lumbar comes with the car... but under the sport package it says

"12-way power front sport seats with power adjustable thigh support"

and doesn't mention lumbar...

BTW, active steering is really weird at first.... I'm sure I'll get used to it....

thanks....

The lumbar adjustment is a four-way disk just ahead and below the main adjustment switches. Fowrard/back is amount of inflation of the lumbar support, and up/down adjust the height (of course!).

Personally, I find that the lumbar support protrudes too much, and try to deflate it as much as possible with my Sport Seats.

If I remember correctly 2004 the lumbar support was not standard on the 545... so thats probably the reason why your friends didnt have it. 2005 Lumbar support is standard.
