Hi guys,
After some hunting on the forum found the culprit for the intermittent "low oil pressure" warning light.
Just got in there today to fit a new one.
Very easy to remove and reinstall, was not very tight when removed.
Placed the new one in by hand until it felt like it had bottomed out on the copper washer.
Gently tightened it up with the ratchet, expecting for it to stop solid like a spark plug.
I do have some finesse and experience with this type of thing, however, the positive stop even slightly did not happen.
In fear of stripping the threads, I torqued it until it was reasonable but in my opinion should perhaps be tighter.
I have taken it out for a drive, and all seems fine, no oil leaking etc...
If the threads are stripped, what would the solution be??
