I picked up my 545i yesterday. (Per the instructions on other posts a picture is attached. ) I have already applied the Rejex and it looks great. The number of settings and options is pretty overwhelming, but I am getting there. I keep finding new things that I hadn't noticed before. It seems to have software version 16.2 since it has the Perspective View in Nav.

I am right on the other side of the hill on Orange. Carmelita is a nice street. A couple of years ago I ran into a guy who said that the street was named after his grandmother. Since his last name was Brittan (another street in the area), it was a credible story.

I forgot to mention that I have not been having any trouble keeping the rpms under control in the break-in period. After many years of driving a Camry, I don't really think about going fast. This car accelerates really, really fast (from my standpoint) without going over 3500. I guess everything is relative.

It is really quite a car. Today, I drove through Woodside and up the switchbacks through the redwoods to La Honda and then down through Half Moon Bay. Again, after years of driving a car that threatens to fly off the road on a moderate curve, I am not pushing the car much yet, but it is really fun to drive.

That's a great drive--one of my favorites. Only problem is sometimes too many crazy bikers on the weekends!

Lots of turns are the key to a happy breakin. Enjoy the new ride!
