Gonna pick one up too - maybe stick some velcro (or other non-slip material) on the bottom to keep it from slipping back and forth during de/acceleration?

I don't know if this belongs here or in Mods or in DIY. The moderators can move it as they see fit.
I am not familiar with other E60 trunks, but the Wal-Mart Sterlite 90qt. (85L) storage box fits in the forward section of the 545i trunk like it was made for it. It provides easy access to this hard to reach area as it easily pulls back to insert items. The box prevents items from being tossed around in the trunk when cornering. And if a bottle of bourbon happens to break, it is kept in the plastic box instead of spilling all over your trunk mats. And all for only $11.97 with cover. Thank the better half for this one. Enjoy

That's perfect ... I was always concerned that body parts and fluids would leak out of the hefty trash bags and stain the fine carpeting in the trunk of my e60

You know what else you can do is. attach a bungee cord across across the back to keep the bin from sliding back. The hooks are in the perfect position as you can see from the pic. Wow i need to go to walmart now lol.
