Default 545i back seat

The center seat arm rest wont fold down, is there a lock on it? Anyone experience this feature getting stuck? I do not see the release latches in the trunk for the ski feature.

thx

while inside the car, put my hand into middle opening box like part of the center armrest, and there's a release button and pull towards you. it should click back and forth to release the armrest

This happened to me just the other day after i had folded the seats and had not done so it quite some time. All i did was release the seat to fold (the bigger half) and close it with a little bit of force then i went and tried to release the center console as normal. I think it just gets jammed if its not being used alot i never really pull mine down. Dont be afraid to use a little force when going for it a second time should work did for me.
