I love my 6-speed. A blast to drive, and I love the exhaust note, from a satisfied, restrained burble, to a nice throaty rumble, to a Bullitt-style growl at high rpms.

My wife loves driving it, too. There's so much torque, that you don't have to constantly shift unless you want to. Second gear works for anywhere from slow standing start to about 60mph+.
