We should plan to meet there some night and run a bunch of BMW's. I want to run my 550i there sometime this summer.

Who is going to NMIS on May 24th for the track event? I am signed up.

Is NMIS the track in Loudon? Who is running the event? Where do you sign up? Details !!!

My son did teen survival school there put on by the BMW CCA

I had an E46 M3 and traded it before doing a track event. Then I thought my E60 was too much of a luxury car for the track but lately I am realizing I am no where near the limits of my car on the road. I think am using about 3/10's of my cars ability especially with all the radar traps (tax revenue generators) around these days. I find myself crawling along side roads that used to be fun because I keep seeing speed traps EVERYWHERE...

Sorry ... but New England drag way is in New Hampshire there web site for New england drag way

The link for New Hampshire Motor Speedway is this is the link to NHMS

I think I might have confused them earlier... the New England Drag Way is where I go. pretty certain I will be there the 26th... not too many people and you are able to get about 6-7 runs in!

Boston chapter of the BMWCCA is running the track event on may 24th at Loudon (NHMS). Definitely sign up. this will be my first time and it sounds like a lot of fun. It would be nice to have some E60's to run with.

Dragway is in Epping.

I previously owned a 2004 545I and took it to the drag strip twice. It was completly unmodified even down to the goodyear RSA tires. The strip was at Maple Grove,Pa which is an NHRA sanctioned strip. My best time was 13.64 at 103.22 mph.The 545 is definitly capable of 13 second 1/4 mile times. It just requires a good start and decent weather conditions.I presently own a 550I which is faster than my 545.I have not had it to the strip but I am sure it would turn low 13 second runs.
