545...Here I come!

Well, I did it. Purchased a 04 545i yesterday. Its being delivered from CA here to Phoenix - I should have it by Tuesday. I figured I better join up here because I'm sure I will have a million questions.
Anyway, the car is Black Saphire with Sport, Steptronic, Logic 7, Cold Weather (like I'll need that in Phoenix), and Sirrius. Black interior.
I shopped for months and looked at everything form E500 to Escalade, to Corvette, to CTS-V, to the new A6 plus plenty of others. Bottom line is I just liked the 545 the best. I had a 99 M3 convertible so I do know how well built the car will be.
Plus, got $2,400 off list which I figured was pretty good even though its an 04.
Anyway, guess I'll see you around.

My 545 has 3,700 miles on it and I look forward to driving it every chance that I get. The build quality of my car has been flawless. The e60 is a great car.

. btw, not trying to discourage you but $2,400 off list doesn't seem like a good deal. i think by this time of the year, $500 over invoice is a workable deal. i hope you'll get a lot of freebies from your dealer.
