All,

I'm replacing the cooling pipe on my 04 545 and ready to take off the intake but i can't seem to figure out how to disconnect the fuel line. I attached a picture of it. It seems I'm supposed to do something with the black plastic piece hanging off but i don't want to force anything for fear of breaking it.

I know this is a common repair so can some one provide me with some input on how to disconnect it???

have you tried pushing/sliding the black plastic sleeve towards the hose, and then pulling hose off at same time?

 

Yea I finally got it off. I was pulling the plastic clip but after more research I found I was supposed to push it as you stated.
