I love the M5 but for long run I will never get 1, I would rent 1 out for the weekend.
In HK it cost $198,718us which is way over price and that is other resen not to get it.
So I would get the 535i (the 535 is not out in HK yet) and mod it and still cost much less and much more better to drive for dayly car.
I can see alot of people will sell the M5 in 2 to 3 years time when the fuel gos over $200us lol

If the price is not the concern, i will get M5 for sure!
But if you take other issues like fuel, running costs..etc into consideration, 535 without doubt
And the key is, when/where can you use that 507bhp in HK?

For the long run, I pick none of the above. That's what my Honda Accord is for. 15+ years of 281,000 reliable, fuel-efficient miles is my realistic pick for a long-term vehicle. Especially when there's no warranty. BMWs are great performance cars ... as long as they're under warranty. Which is why I bid farewell to my 550. When the M5 nears warranty expiration, ... NEXT!
Much as the M5 would be a blast to have, for my driving needs and historical use, the 535i (xi for me due to winters, and it is a daily driver) makes way more sense.
Be nice to rent an M5 occasionally tho.....
