Unhappy 535i Thigh Seat Extension Not Working ?

08 535i thigh seat extension not working on either side? I was trying to adjust my thigh seat extension in the driver seat and i herd what sounded like something plastic snapping and now its not moving but i do hear the motor working so i moved the seat extension by hand fully extended and back in without much force thinking it was maybe off track but still nothing when using the power button so i went the the passenger side which was working fine the day before i grabbed the seat extension and moved it out and in by hand to see if it was free like the driver side which it was but when i went to adjust it with the power button i got nothing but also hear the motor running ... Can someone please help me here ? I hate having everything not working 100%
