Thumbs up

Hello all
I am a new member , recently joined to get some information regarding E60.
I am planning to purchase a 535i and wondering how much over the invoice should be considered as a good deal.
Also if you guys have any specific dealers and sales person to recommend, please let me know.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

oops!!!
I am located in southern cali. However, as long as I can get a good price, I do not mind going outer states since I can transport the car free of charge.

Thank you in advance.

$700.00 over the invoice was the lowest last time that I shopped with premium pack, sport pack, navi. Most dealers ask for $1200 - $1500 over the invoice.

I was willing to go between 2% and 3% over invoice. Didn't have to dicker much in that range, as it gave the dealer a fair margin. Could I have done better?... Perhaps. If you do the math, though - 3% is $1500 or more on a nicely equipped 535i. So I definitely wouldn't go above that. Of course I'm in the DC metro area... Things may be different in So. CA.

Ice Bimmer
That seems like a good deal to me. Do you mind telling me which dealer it was and who did you made the deal through?

Any more out there with good price examples?

Thank you very much

Try Raj Shah @ Mckenna in Norwalk - I just picked up my 535i this week (ordered in December). He's the Internet Sales director and gave me a great deal. This is my second BMW from him in 2 years. Tell him Rick sent you.

I've also gotten aggressive offers from Justin Wong at Assael in Monrovia, but ended up sticking with Mckenna. Good luck!

What is the cost model applied to an e60 if the dealer only gets $700-$1500 margin on the sale?

How do they feed their kids? Is there a kickback on the invoice cost? Or extra allowances to manage warranties and maintenance revenue streams?

Thank you Rick.
I will check with Raj Shah.
Just curious, do you mind telling me how much you paid over the invoice? If you feel uncomfortable, you can pm me.
Thank you
