Don't know how this will affect you w/a DINAN remap as the remap works off of an earlier version? (If I understand that right) If you get the update and re-flash, would revert back to the version that DINAN uses?

This is just a total guess and I'm actually curious if anyone knows how that works?
i'll have to ask Dinan, but glad you brought it up!

What? wow... power of the people... that tiny tiny bit of turbo lag and people got BMW to change the SW. Other car manufactures with TONS and TONS of turbo lag would just say "screw you"

So it's reported that V 32.1 is the SW update with the lag fix. My car was in for an oil change and hard brake pedal at start up (another discussion ). The shop foreman did confirm they recieved V 32.1 this past Monday, but stated there was no mention of there being an update needed for turbo lag, however there was mention of a release of a turbo lag fix to be released this month They didn't even check my SW version when I asked them to 3 days ago when I dropped off my car. I have to return back there in 2 weeks due to a part being on back order (the one needed to fix the brake pedal). The foreman said he would check then and hopefully he would hear more about the "lag fix". I told him an SW update would take more than a day most likely and he confirmed that...so then I said I'd most likely be without my car for another day or two. Politely said thanx for the effort and asked my SA to please call me when the part comes in

Is that software upgrade for all builds? Mine was built in July.

I have a June 2007 build, which is before the Sept 2007 start date. Maybe thats why I am not experiencing turbo lag like many of you.
