I recently placed a 535i on order.
I can see it on Owners Circle as Scheduled for Production.

So can I still change the color or options or is it too late?
I want to check this out with the forum before I call the dealer.

Thanks,

Mick

Quickly get in touch with your dealer and speak to them about the changes. They are the only ones that can the make changes for you. It will slow up the movement of the car through the process, but not much.

Yes, you can still change options and color right now. I have a a 550 on order that just progressed to stage 112 and I still made a change today - dropped active steering. I believe "scheduled for production" includes both stage 111 and 112, so I think you're safe - but you better do it tomorrow. I'm looking forward to my baby getting a VIN. I wish you could actually watch production of your bimmer. Maybe that's going too far but I know I'd do it.

The OC is 3-4 days behind, call the 800 number or your dealer for accurate status. Once in production you can't change it, they only take 24 hrs to build your car....mine was in production on 3/6, complete 3/7. Call your dealer ASAP or just re-order. Good luck.

That is correct also that OC is at least a few days behind. Call (800) 831-1117 for a fairly accurate automated status, at least while your car in still in Germany. Its not very reliable once aboard the shipping vessel.
