Ok guys. I'm really new here. I just sold my Z and am in a market for a car. I'm looking at the 645 or a 535. I been reading up and seeing bunch of PROcede 335's putting down 400whp and wanted to kown how much it owuld cost and how i can get a 535 to do that, if i can do that. Also, i think i read the Dinan tune puts down 38x, is that with other mods or just the tune by itself? how much would it be with catback and such if anyone konws. Thanks in advance.

535i has a more restrictive exhaust than the 335 so output might not be quite as high. If you go on drag times.com there is one 535i that is tuned making over 350whp and running 12.5 in the quarter. There are not many hop up parts for the 535i so far. I think the 300hp/tq factory rating is (compared to other vehicles) a little low because BMW doesn't want to compete with the current 550i too much. On an equal rating basis the 535i is probably making 320hp and 330tq stock. You can add a simple piggy back or Dinan flash and add another 40-50 hp/tq. That should put the car into the high 12's. after that you will have to get creative with your mods. If you go to N54tech.com you will find a lot of tuning info and dyno runs for the 335's.

Thanks for the info. I honestly think if a 335 can put out 400whp there is NO reason why the 535i can't. I mean if i'm not mistaken the Dinan is putting down 38xwhp? (anyone konw)...if so, a free flowing catback and high flow cats would bump that up to 400whp. I would be super duper happy with a 400whp daily driver 5ser.

too bad Walked_U is parting out
Hey man, if you're thinking about getting time attacks again, they'd go best with a 335i.
Not sure what version procede is up to, but in the past, you needed an exhaust, downpipes and high flow cats to get close to 400whp. 360-380whp should be easily attainable with procede by itself.
If you're concerned with price, look into a juicebox as it has been the cheapest option. http://www.burgertuning.com/index.html
Also, read up on e90post as that site has lots of info on the subject.

I was looking forward to taking Walked U on. Just to let you know, I walked a E92 335 with AA BOV, S/R downpipes, full exhaust (Bastuck) and PROCede V2 real bad. I let him go first and reeled him in and walked him twice. The one time we lined up evenly, it was like he threw out an anchor. I thought he slammed on the brakes. He's a SF Krew buddy.
Video FTW!!!!!. E63's are F A S T!
