535i Blackstone UOA
So I finally got to doing a UOA on my N54. For those who know me I have driven the snot out of my 535i for the last 80k miles and I always run a high E85 fuel blend, approx E45 mix. Due to this I also stay on top of the vehicle maintenance and don't skimp on the materials. Here is the specifics on this UOA: Motul Xcess 5w/40, 10,050 mile on this interval, 107,800 miles on the ODO, and a E45 fuel blend is constantly ran.
As you can see Motul Xcess 8100 is some good oil.

Have you been using the motul for the full life of the engine, or is this for only the last 10,550 miles on Motul?

I only switched to Motul this last oil change. Prior to this it has been the BMW branded 5w/30 castrol oil changed every 8k miles. This interval of 10k miles was a little longer then what I normally do.

I expect that if you had done the same analysis after using the BMW 5W30 oil, you would have had very similar results, which are very average for a good synthetic. The analysis of the oil is to give you an idea of the health of the engine, not the oil.
