Hi guys,I currently drive a 2006 535d M Sport with OEM 172 Spider alloys which look very nice but i want to change them for 166 style M5 alloys. Are there any fitment issues with these on a non M5 or will they fit straight on with no issues?

Just got to find me a set in the UK now

I bought OEM wheels and the only issue I had was the front tyres where too big so rubbed if I hit a bump or any suspension travel.

Thanks to the forum I managed to get the correct tyre sizes and switched the fronts to the 172 tyre size and since then no problems.

If your tyres are good you could get reps or OEM and switch your tyres... if you go the replica route get the staggered off sets

Most importantly .... post pics when you have them fitted

They will be a straight fit, just make sure you get the right size tyres; 245/35 R19 & 275/30 R19. The same as you should have on your 172's currently.

If you can choose, take the rear wheel with the offset of 17mm instead of 28mm to make it sit flushed. Assuming we're talking about OEM wheels, not replica.

+1

Also,if you go for replicas, look for a branded product with the correct centre-bore for the E60, 72.6mm,so that you don't have to fit spigot rings.
