I have got a brand new 535d touring since July.
In November I took it to a reprogrammation for the ECU, close to Madrid, in Spain.
Now the car yields 319 hp and a torque of 630 Nm
0-100 Km/h in 5,5 secs.
Consumtion has dropped a little bit.
Speed limiter has been eliminated. Speed goes up to 290 km/h (Theoretically since speedmeter goes up to 260 km/h)
Reprogrammation was made under www.upsolute.com conditions. Really a conservative one.
Price is under 400 Euros
As you can see, You can have the 2007 car right now, with very little extra money
The character of the car has changed . It responds to your requirements at once and you get reeally sticked to you seat.
Kind regards from Spain

then think what you would be able to do with the new lighter engine producing more horsepower and more torque at a lower RPM?
can you say 350horse power 700nm

Yaeah! It is going to be something unbelievable. That kind of torque is inmense...higher than many circuit protoype racing cars...
I wonder what solution will they apply to the speedgear change box. No manual box will be able to handle such a torque again...
