Very good looking car! The only problem that I see is that the steering wheel is on the wrong side :-)

By the way, Was your 330 a hard-top convertible?

Yes it was. I would normally have removed the hardtop this spring but i traded it to the dealer with the car - he gave me an extra bit of money for it - which made the E60 just a little more affordable

Hi Merv - Yes I see from your signature that yours is coming soon too. Will be interested to hear your opinions on it vs the 530d - i drove a demo 530d before placing my order and I loved that too !!

Thanks again all.

IMU,

I only drove the 535d for about 15mins, 7 miles and 40mph limits so hopefully I will be in for nice suprise when I get it. I sure hope the throttle lag is less apparent in the more powerful car. The 530d is a class act and I'm sure the 525d is as well. I tried my 528i E39 manual against a friend in a 525d touring E39 auto and didn't get past him. So diesel all the way for me especially 272bhp/413nm/lb

I'll let you know how it goes

Cheers

MTD

PS Enjoy yours
