The video may be doable. Let's see when we I get that far.
The auxiliary heating (also called as webasto) is a fuel burning heater that heats up the water in the engine and uses then the cars own inside heater for the cabin to warm up. You can start the heater remotely or using the car's timers. As I am a fanatic skier and like to go to cold places (my origin is Finnish) I find it very pleasant to enter? into pre-warmed car and no need to rub out the ice from the windows either.
Yes, it is is a factory fit option (number 536). For some reason it is not available for the RHD cars. In my undestanding you get the auxiliary ventilation with the advanced aircon, not the heating.

By the way what kind of tyres you use as winter tyres? The only option here - of course - are the speed class "H" and above. With Finnish icy snow I would probably prefere the class "T" tyres.
Hi there,
I guess the only option here in europe is to tease your dealer. They are able to tell you in ten seconds the status.

Welcome aboard, NC91
!
Yep. I love this feature!!

That is correct.
Advanced Aircondition is independent VENTILATION, not heating.
US doesn't get this option either.

Is that a factory fit option? I understand that with advanced aircon you can set the time at which the heating comes on, but you can't switch it on remotely (shame). I haven't seen this option in the UK?
