Just wanted to share the joy. Mine is in delivery in about two weeks (code 190, loaded to train on 16/02/2005). Having read this forum extensively after ordering I'm not yet scared off .
I'm anxiously waiting to see the quality. Having owned two E39s before (MY1997 and MY2002) I have to say that I found the MY1997 quality better. Small things but anyway...

My Ride: 2011 520dA coming up.
Welcome NC91!
Be prepared for one fantastic car and beware of Brussels traffic with you new toy!
Maybe you could feature a video while driving through the tunnels!
The sound should be fantastic.
PS what is auxilary heating?

The video may be doable. Let's see when we I get that far.
The auxiliary heating (also called as webasto) is a fuel burning heater that heats up the water in the engine and uses then the cars own inside heater for the cabin to warm up. You can start the heater remotely or using the car's timers. As I am a fanatic skier and like to go to cold places (my origin is Finnish) I find it very pleasant to enter into pre-warmed car and no need to rub out the ice from the windows either.

Mine is also in 190 status.
Lets hope, I will get it next week end.
My very first ride will be to Brusels at my father.

By the way NC91 can you explain me how to show the profile of your car below your threads. When I fill in the "my ride description" in my profile, it doesn't appear.
Thanks
Thanks
