Hello everybody,

I'm new to my 535D and I've noticed a few glitches with the main menu and the Idrive wheel not doing anything.

It's spinning without contolling the main menu intermittently, the main menu button sometimes doesn't respond and the screen stays on the main option menu.

Its normally alright first thing then with use starts to play up.

I've read that the control box under the idrive wheel can be taken off and the sensors cleaned .

can anybody help me with this problem, is it a common one??

I took apart mine as i accidentally put to much downward pressure on it. I'd say its worth a look. Mine wasn't dirty, but some grease had dried up. Just make sure you take the time to understand how its held together as you take it apart, so putting it together won't be a puzzle.
