My 535d is now 4 months old and I have noticed that on the twin chrome exhast outlets, the bottom parts of the outlets on both pipes have gone brown They look as though they are rusted. Took the car in to my local dealer who says its bound to happen as it's a Diesel and it's a natural instinct for this to happen

I argued that the car was only 4 months old and I thought that 535d's have the particulate filter so they shouldn't be going brown But they declined to see the problem and said there is nothing they can do as it WILL happen.

Is this true? Has anyone else got brown tipped chrome exhausts
