I am still a long way from my 1st service (currently indicated at 16,000 and i have clocked up only 2.5k)

Just wondered if anyone has had their first service of this beast and could report back on any issues and the cost ?

Just want to prepare myself... for any shocks :'(

TIA

I had a first service done on my last 530d which basically was an oil change and inspection. The service cost me ?180 and was done at 18k miles. I should imagine the service on a 535d is identical But then knowing BMW they probably have a special service for the 535d as they only expect to sell a 1,000 cars in the UK.

I took out the 60k service and maintenance so I have "no further cost involvement" !!!!!

I have only just done 1100 miles ( now be able to give her some stick ) and computer says service due in 18000 miles.

my first reply so hope i've done it right

No tyres are not covered, but exhausts and windscreen wipers are, all though I have not been able to test this yet.

Have taken some pics and will post them in "my ride" when I can work out how to do it.

Peter :-)
