A buddy of mine just spent close to $5k on a dinan exhaust, throttle body, and intake on his 550i and I still take his ass. 
Oh and my performance mods less than $1.5k, 535i ftmfw!

My Ride: 535i
The only reason we have them is because the E60 cars have almost identical stock performance, they fixed that model lineup flaw with the F10.
