the article also said that all is great as it should with E60 and the Xdrive is great however it is no more typical great BMW handling... simply it is a diffrent story. I don't say bad.......it is just not an excelent BMW rear drive vehicle with its attributes.

I will receive my 530xd E61 tomorrow....!!!

I had an Audi Quattro before and I was wondering if the Xdrive system was as efficient as the Audi Quattro...

Now... I'm sure....

Thank you for the link.... I will bring them the movie tomorrow....!!!

And I will maybe have a nice discount.... (too late... it was paid today... :'( )

I still think that if you want a 4x4 then Audi Quattro is the one and only - real full time one.
However I must admit that the Xdrive on E60 is very nice, one of the best non Audi cars 4x4.... huge step wrom the old 330x cars

Yep I was 100% happy with the Audi... but my wife decided another way....

Have a look... Audi Quattro... my lucky wife :'( :'( :'(

I had to change the car... and Audi was really bad in business....
So, finally we signed for a 530xd (the 4WD was a minimum for me... Switzerland.... mountain.... snow....!!! )

Oops...sorry about your Audi. But your wife is alive and well and that's most important. Looks like Audi is not a bad car from the safety perspective.

oh my diky Peter you just used "my words" perfect for those who need it or want it me I prefer lowered and a bit difficulty in the snow but in Summer it kicks a$$ our rear wheel drive e60, spec when you pass away audis and vw or merzs

Snow ?? haha, this year ? :thumbsdown:

I'm going to the alps next weekend, so let it snow!
