Are you sure it was an R32 and not just a 2.0t? R32's are pretty quick.

Thats what I was thinking cuz first off your car is a diesel, so it doesn't have the best pickup...although the torque will kill so iono.....but the R32s are light and fast...you sure? It might've just been a regular GTI...cuz my 09 Accord V6 can take those lolz...I remember a friend of mine got a GTI and LOVED the car for it's speed, and my "accord" matched if not beat it lolz....

I thought R32s were considered "heavy", especially compared to the GTI. It has a heavy V6 plus the 4 wheel drive system.....

You think a diesel is heavy and slow , go to your local dealer and ask for a test drive in the 335D. Its a twin turbo 3 litre engine, performance will surprise you. Regarding the R32 I have never heard of anyone referring to them being light, sure it has a big engine but it aint light the performance stats aren't that good for what the R32 is meant to be.

It was a GTI 2.0T with the R32 pipes
Bear in mind my car with remap = 250HP runs avg. 14.2s 1/4 mile
Raced previously R32 when my car was stock , jumped him 2 get away robot 2 robot - sadly he
caught but was tooo late we were almost @ nex robot

My 08 GTI was repeatedly head to head with 07 Maxima off the trafic lights. Tried it 3 times. Do not know about Accord. Keep in mind that the ones with DSG tranny are about 0.4 of second faster than manuals. It can keep up with any average 4 door out there. Not so bad for 4 cyl 2.0 isn't it?

First off...read what I wrote. I never said that diesels were heavy and slow. I was just commenting on the R32...second, I have driven a 335d. THe acceleration is nothing compared to a 335i. Diesels have worse acceleration numbers than a typical petrol engine. You should know that.
