Hi,

I'd like to get my 2004 530D remapped. I'm hoping that i can get it remapped and improve fuel economy when driving sensibly but increase power when i feel like flooring it.

I currently get average 27mpg when driving slightly spirited and 32mpg when being as sensible as possible, thats mixed town and motorway. (uk gallon)

Does anyone have any experince of remaps within or close to Glasgow? and any realistic figures for bhp, torque and 0-60 after the remap?

Hi Shaun,

I have had my 530D remapped, I used DMS which I had seen many positive results and are always advertising in Evo magazines and others.

My car is now 600nm from 500 and returns about 38mpg cruising and 32ish when playing

DMS are quite expensive but provide amazing results.

Another good company is Emaps, Simon is one of the main guys and he remapped my last BM (E46 330D), very good service and very knowledgeable guy.

Google Emaps and read some reviews.

I think your usage now is already quite high.

I am doing 32.6 average on my stock 530d 2004 and i dont drive like my pops
