Hi again,

Also following my service yesterday BMW warned that the particulate filter on my 530d is reporting 93% full. I thought this is something that cleans itself out. Do I need a new filter? Do I need to change my driving style? Is it something that can be cleaned manually?

Cheers

Yes the DPF can be washed manually. There's a thread about it on the DIY section, read it all. Sorry I'm using my cellphone, difficult to make a link.
