It's very bad for the automatic gearbox... It's killing the "clutch" in the auto-gearbox!!

I would never do that in our E60! Never!
You can do it once just to see how it is

My search is about to end and i think i am going to keep the box (it is from www.tuningbox.com) because in all the information i gathered in the net (english, french and even some german - with the help of google translate) i couldn't find anyone reporting a problem with this kit.

The improvements are very, very noticeable, specially in the accelerations at higher speeds and for less than ?500 it is more than worth it!

Just a final word about the service: the keyword is if there is any trouble or doubt just return it. Man, this approach really works!

About engine life i will tell as i will do 200.000km with it.

A little bird told me (remember BMW UK are in Bracknell) that the updated E60 will have revised engines the two that need the revisions if you look across the range are the 3.0i and the 2.5d. The 3.5d is fine, the 3.0d has just been revised, the 2.0d is a class leader.

3.0i has just been 'revised' - you may be thinking of the twin-turbo 535i (Turbo 3.0). The 2.5d definitely needs and update but so does the 535d! (Lighter block for sure...)
