Alright Bimmianites, what are the most serioues issues with the 530i so far. Some posts got me a little uptight since I already ordered the car last week.

No major problems with my 530i. It's a great car! You'll be happy with it! The runflat tires are a bit noisy but that's the only thing I don't like about the car!

I have a 530i that has hit the 6,500 mile mark. I am so impressed with this car- now more than ever. All cars have some sort of fault- even machines are not perfect....just go with the flow because I think you are going to be in for one smooth ride !
I really don't think you are going to have any regrets. Best of luck on your fine new set of wheels!!!!

Have now driven 12000km without problems. Sometimes I think car makes it own something but it can also be my mistake with remote.

Go ahead, don't be afraid... On the other hand that would Devil say.

e60 WILL steal Your heart.

Everything is great for my 530i. Only that it is pretty slow car for me. In addition, my cupholder is kinda faulty too. Other than that, the car is perfect for me.

Just passed the 11000 mile mark. Love the car except for the runflats that came with the sport package. The only other things that I have needed to be corrected are a couple of rattles mentioned in other threads.

This is a great car - very fun to drive.
