I have CPO 2008 528i, bought in 2010, with new tires Continental eco plus installed by dealer in 2010, now the tires have 35k miles on them and they seems to be in good shape with even worn out, but I never had tire rotation/alignment/balancing etc...

Is it the time to do it ? even if I do not have any issues..

I would say not to get an alignment unless you feel it is absolutely necessary.


I just replaced my OEM Donlop RFT's on my 2008 528i, installed by an indy tire dealer, then made the mistake of letting them perform the "recommended" alignment after installing the new tires. They completely skrewed up my car's handling now and they cannot get it back to normal.


Would the best way to resolve this is take it to a BMW dealer for an alignment? At this point I am willing to pay the additional $188 my local dealer is asking for an alignment just to get my car back.


Comments or recommendations would be appreciated.
