525i (n52) Jumping revs, rough running
Hello, my bmw 525i n52 have some problems:
*idle isn't stable and is running very rough.
*engine rpm randomly drop and increase back again when holding stable revs (moves on idle also)
*when accelerating there is spot at about 1500rpm when it hardly gets revs and they drop and go up slightly, when it is over ~2200 rpm and hardly accelerating, it doesn't feel.
*this is especially feeling when it gets colder outside. Also my outside temperature sensor is faulty, but I have checked that it shouldn't effect engine, it only shows temperature, not it shows +50, sometimes when starting car it is lower, but while driving it increases.
I have done some photos of rheingold diagnostics, I suspect maybe it is intake air sensor, it is always cold outside, so can't test it in hot, but when I was once in friends warm garage, it was running nicer.
Maybe anyone have any suggestions ?

Is this something that all happen at once or one by one. It seems you have a lot of faults that has nothing to do with each other. Did your car have any water damage? Have you checked your battery?

It didn't happen at once, part of them aren't associated with engine, 3 are because of faulty outside temperature sensor, which started showing +50. One is because of some height sensor in headlight.
What is associated with engine is:
Catalytic converter - "efficiency below threshold"
Mixture control - "too rich"
Intake air temperature sensor
Car didn't have any water damage and battery new, changed before winter.
Maybe anyone know any software to get more exact information from diagnostics, to find what is causing problems ?

Do you have any BMW software to get the info (ie INPA, DIS, NCS Expert, Progman)? You also need OBDII Cable and of course a laptop.
Problem 1: Just change the temperature sensor and do a reset. Or check to make sure the cable and connector is good first.
Problem 2: Your adaptive headlight might be malfunctioning. Need a replacement Headlight unit. Preferably used.
Problem 3: It might be an O2 sensor that went bad. How many miles or KM do you have? You need to get the actual codes to see. I see that one code you have says there is a micro leak some where. To many plausible solutions.
Your best bet is to check the BMW codes and go from there. This issue seems simple because one wrong part could give you the 3 engine errors.
