Angry 525D vibration when downshifting 3 to 2

Hi.

My 525D LCI 2007 got this issue that i cant find a solution to. When im driving it shift like normal and smooth but when i brake in 3 gear and the rpm hits around 1100-1200rpm the car downshift to 2 gear and the rpm drops to 600rpm. it also vibrates when it downshift. i had the oil and filter changed this week and it didnt solve the problem.

any ideas on what it might be?

Do you have any transmission codes? Could be solenoids. How much fluid was put back in if you did the fluid change

i can have a mechanic check for any codes. do you think the solenoids could cause this? all the gears work fine except for shifting from 3 to 2 and sometimes from 2 to 3 might feel jerky aswell

i forgot to mention but the vibrations/hard downshift gets less noticeable when the car heats up. after a while i can barely feel it when its warm.

Are you taking the car to a BMW Indy or just a shop? Many thing can cause you issue (wrong or low fluid, solenoid, throttle body, gaskets, etc). I would look for codes by reading from a BMW reader and verify you're using the right fluid and putting in the correct amount. If the mechanic only changed the fluid and pan then he may need to ask someone for assistance because shifting issues in a gear are pressure and/or solenoid issues.

i take it to a normal shop but the mechanics are really good when it comes to bmw. i had them change the fluid (zf lifeguard 6) and top it off so the fluids should be good. i will have them check for codes on the gearbox. can i change one solenoid if it turn out that one of them are bad or do i have to change all at the same time?

went to the mechanic today and they checked the gearbox and engine for codes but they didnt find anything. i really think the problem is oil related because the vibrations fade away when the engine get hot. When i drove home today the gearbox acted really nice because it was warm. its almost like they didnt change the gear oil

If your mechanic is at a lost, I'd highly suggest you take your car to a BMW indy.
