My Ride: 525d M Sport in Carbon Black

Damn fine cars both of them... I'm happy with my colour choices now.
I'm hoping if all goes well with business in the coming years, I'll be looking at M5's when i next need to change... 400 - 500 bhp now, I wonder what they will be packing around 2010-11

Good move! It's a worthwhile option as it upgrades the audio from 'sub-standard' to 'very good'. The amp is more powerful but you won't be able to see this (only hear it). You do end up with a few extra speakers and some of these are visible (10 instead of 6).

Is Carbon Black a no cost option there with M Sport?
UNLESS, you order a 530i, 530d, 535d or 540i in which case it is "free"...

I did consider dropping the carbon for jet black but as i'm getting close to the big 40 i figure this is my treat and will be my daily runner for the next few years.

In the UK there's no extra cost for any of the paint colours going by the car builder
It's the same rule as in Ireland...
You have to pay extra for metallic paint for any model less than 3.0 litres
M-sport or not.
