Anyway, I have a gas leak hahahah dude, these 5 series are crazy...after 120K miles, everything just falls apart...
Now, angle sensor has bee relegated to the back burner and I'm thinking of replacing either a feed line or even a fuel filter set...

Yes, I likely did.
Since the leak (and the fuel smell) was coming from the left rear side, it had to do with the fuel filter. (I was thinking about the charcoal canister at first but one mechanic said, when the canister goes bad, there is no leak, but mine had)
So I removed the back seat and got to the fuel filter and it looked exactly like this picture https://bmwtechnician.com/2016/02/06/e60-fuel-leak/
So I've noticed hair line cracks on top of the fuel filter and they were obviously causing the issue though I thought it might have been the rubbing seal. So I went to advance auto parts and bought "JB Weld 50133 Plastic Bonder 25 ml". Patched all the hair line cracks with couple layers, especially the ones on the bottom of the plastic nipple. Let it dry for 4 hours, turned the car on, and no leak. Drove to the gym and work today and it looks like it doesn't smell anymore.
I would still have to replace the fuel filter becuase it's old and I just dont think JB weld will hold it well.
Let me know if you have any questions. Would be happy to answer.
