520iA and 520i E60
#1
Hi Guys
Could you guys please explain to me the difference between 520i and 520iA??
I read some page that the E60 520iA is a 2.5litre engine while the 520i is 2200.
Is there anything else not the same? equipment level etc??
Thanks

The 520i is a petrol engine (2200), and I thought people put A at the end to signify it was an automatic. The 525i is a 2.5 litre. Tell me if i'm wrong...

I am sure 520iA doesn't just stands for automatic?? because you can have a automatic without having a A badge , 520i can also be an automatic.
Quote of "http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/t/news/bmw/new5-seriesrevealed/id35285"
"A couple of months later, BMW will launch the 520iA (192bhp, 2.5-litre) and the 545i. The latter is powered by a new Valvetronic 333bhp/332lb ft 4.4-litre V8. A new six-speed manual 'box is standard on both cars and a six-speed auto is optional."
Correct me if I am wrong too
