Satnav is indeed crap. But when asked for the place, you can type in your postcode instead the city. The bigger problem is the house numbers that are always missing

Post code search is def there, its just not obvious. Where you tap in the area / City you just type the post code (upto 5 characters tho )

Postcode functionality varies by territory and type of Nav.

UK postcode fucntionality does NOT work (bug) with the 06-2 (Professional) DVD.

I'm intrigued that dosprompt says there are no POIs... is that a limitation of Business Nav?

Sorry just an old fool , I have now, thanks to the last notes in this forum found how to input Post codes on my 2006-1 DVD, I have had this for a week, as for the POI's, i mean the one's you can put in yourself, like Tesco's Asda ect, ect, you can only see one type at a time, i.e. Speed cams or my own Poi's

Performance on motorway crusing
speed is amazing 80-120kph (7.0secs) nearly as fast as the 530i (6.7secs). This says it all.

I guess forgetting to mention "in manual 4th gear" makes you be prouder and prouder. However, 520D may accelerate best in 4th gear from 80-120 km/h, but 530i can do it on lower gears in much shorter times. Why comparing in 4th and not in 3rd? Why not 2nd? To make a diesel look best where it can?

Okay, no problem with me... Just making sure, everybody is aware of a missing gear...
