My Ride: 2004 545i, 6-speed Manual, Silver Grey Metallic, Grey Dakota Leather, Cold Weather Pkg, Premium Sound Pkg, Sport Pkg, Lumbar Support
Also, since this thread started talking about higher mileage services, there has been no mention of cooling system flush. I believe this is a "BMW lifetime" fill, thus approx. 100K miles.
And don't forget your brake system flush every two years--iDrive should remind of this, though.

You're smart to do it all now. 5-6K drain intervals on engine oil is cheap insurance. Fluids are the life of your car.
You probably know already, but do trans service in two steps. Drop and change the pan, refill. Drive a month. Then drain and refill. You will have turned over 90% of the ATF.
Every two years on brake fluid.
Good to keep CHF11S topped off to avoid faults. Just drained my CHF11S, flushed system per ZF procedure, replaced reservoir (filter in bottom) and refilled at 84K.
75-80K is time to think proactively about water pump, hoses and thermostat. BMW engines have very little tolerance for overheating.

As for the power steering fluid, do you have the procedure handy? I would greatly appreciate it.

ZF procedure is straight forward. Also included DIY from M5 forum which was well thought out.

thank you! As for the reservoir is the filter integrated in the body or is it a separate piece one could easily replace?

Integrated into the bottom of the reservoir. The ZF part is cheap from AutoHausAZ.
