The anthracite headliner is a great option. The color really compliments the black interior of my car, more so than gray.

Agree with Lou 100%.

I think it also compliments the brown/saddle interior option as well. In that combo, you have 2 colors (brown/black) plus the wood vs. 3 colors (brown/black/grey) plus the wood.

Strictly marketing hype.... I like it better and am glad I added it at the end, but honestly -- $500??!! It should have just been standard, or an optional selection like the various wood trim, for all of maybe $10 extra the fabric <might> have cost them.

I agree. Where's the logic of putting a gray headliner in a car with black or brown seats? If you get beige leather, you get a beige headliner. If you get gray leather, you get a gray headliner. But if you get black or brown leather, you get a, gray headliner. Some will say, it's so the car isn't so dark inside. If it's dark, open the sunshade. I just expect the headliner to match the rest of my interior.

What I really don't understand is why they don't offer the anthracite headliner in the E90/E92. I was able to get it when I had an 04 330i by ordering the Performance Package (not that I ordered the PP JUST to get the Anthracite headliner, it was just bonus.). I guess the logic is over our heads.

I also the anthracite headliner on my 330i and it also came with a alcantara steering wheel which was sweet. The nice thing about having anthracite headliner is it also covers the pillars which is supposed to improve your vision with less glare on the windshield...so they say.

Wink

The headliner only goes good with interior gray/ Black, I think
Otherwise your interior will be multicolor
The best combo interiors are of 7 Series
