It is bad practice, but in the real world fitting different spark plugs will make little to no difference at all. As long as they are the correct type for your engine.

Funny Question but I would say there is no right answer except

Check Gap & Heat

and then seriously you drive a performance car, its not smart to mix and match your plugs unless your in a bad situation.

Tischer has overnighted me the correct plug and have supplied a prepaid label to return the BOSCHE plug to them. Great service. (as I would expect)

Now I just have to install it, which it is unfortunately the last plug underneath the microfilters, so I have to take all that off. But, not too big of a deal, I can do it with my eyes closed now!

FWIW, I haven't noticed any performance degradation, but I, like most of you, would rather have it done right.
