Does anyone have any nice interior night shots of their car with and/or without the premium package? Alot of awesome interior pictures, but rarely do you see any when the sun sets.

These lights appear on other BMW models. They are euphemistically known as "drug lights".

It's nice to have ambient lighting, but BMW could definitely use a quick glance at Mercedes' design/engineering page on how to do it properly. I like to have my IP bright, but the ambient light is tied to the IP brightness. When I turn up the IP level, the interior is washed in a bright, obnoxious orange light. Even Audi does it better. And I'd rather have the footwells illuminated than the door bins.

Not that I'm complaining. It's better to have it than not.

Instrument Panel.

I agree, my instrument panel is too high while the ambient light is too low. Put the ambient higher, and the dials are too bright in real night driving.

too orange? well, that's a matter of taste and getting used to. I don't mind that, i do mind the bright green LED"s of the airco buttons that do not dim with the rest.
