Hi, does anyone know how to tell if the Bridgestone Potenza RE040A tires (for E60 2005 545i sport) for sale at most places are 2nd or 3rd generation run-flat tires? It sounds like the 3rd generation is much better -- but none of the sites mentions if they are selling 2nd or 3rd. Any thoughts?

BS RE040A tires are the the first generation run flat tires. The latest RE050A are the 2nd and 3rd generation tires.
