Hey Sherwin,
Some of us have no problem admitting that the stock 335i is as fast or faster than a stock 550/545. Don't sweat it. You don't have to justify anything here. I was there and saw it all. Good times and runs. You have convinced me to doubt running 335i's. I'll just stick to doing runs against cars in the same class i.e. Mercedes E500, Lexus 430, Infiniti M45, etc.

Naw im not tripping at all. I just wanted to state the obvious. Sorry if I came out too harsh. But its so hard to display emotion on the internet.
And if anything the 550i and 545 are beast. A lot of people would have to agree with me for being a 3800lb+ car it can move.
Ive raced one with my v8 s4 and got smoked. Thats why I had doubts in my mind if I would be able to keep up.
EDIT : Added some stuff

The latest E-class got5.5 liter V8, change the name to E550 and will humiliate BMW 550/545 in a straight line race.
Hey you know anything about the CLK 550?
I raced one at the track. And was beating it only by 1/2 a CL. If im not mistaken those cars are like 380 hp and like 390 torque? Im not sure on the curb weight but its somthing around liek 4300 lbs?
I was so suprised at the results.
I cant get a straight answer when I google it.

Don't worry about the IS350. It's fast from a dig up to 60 mph but once it hits 80 or 90 mph, it loses power up top. The key to take on a IS350 is to do it from a roll. The IS350's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears are strong but after that the V8 will pull. Trust me on this. EBMCS03, in his IS350, and I went heads up a few months back.
