My Ride: 2005 - 545 - tit silver/grey/sport/premsound/nav/cold weather pkg/ hardwire valetine/clear bra/4700k fog bulbs - acs fron and rear spoiler, r10's radenergies with michelin ps2 - 275/30 - 275/35 - aux audio, v 18.xx

I have a 3/04/04 production 530 - I am hearing a noise when I turn left - it is annoying - coming from the steering column. Also from my reading this car can have BT activated correct? It is 530/Sport/Auto/Nac/PDC/Aux Audio/ACS front lip and rear lip.

Can't help you on the steering noise, although I would use the search function and see what's been written.

Your car is right on the bubble for BT availabilty. First check your iDrive and see if it's shown as an option, you'll need at least software version 13.3 to see it. Otherwise you'll need to talk to your dealer and find out if you made the cut.

You can call BMWNA or your parts guy at BMW and give them your last 7 VIN numbers and they should be able to tell you if you have BT capability.

I had a strange noise coming from my steering column as well. When turning the wheel it made an audible "clicking" sound. I brought it in to the dealer, and they stated they had seen it before. They replaced the "slip ring" after disassembly of the steering column. No issues after the replacement. It was, of course, covered under the warranty.
