215/55/17 tires on stock rims

Hi guys, could a 215/55/17 winter tires fit on a stock 545i rims?

I threw on that size on my stock wheels for the winter (Dunlop M3s). I figured the shorter, thinner tire allows for better snow traction, and so far it's been fine. Assuming you have the same 17" stock size, then you should be fine.

According to TireRack recommended max rim size for 215/55/17 tire size is 7.5" width, so should be good.
