Default 2010 bmw 528i xenon headlight upgrade

I have a 2010 528i without the xenon headlights, I want to get xenon lights which would be the best option to go with?

So your car has the factory halogen lights. Fortunately your car has projector low beams so you can fit an aftermarket HID kit in the low beams.

Go here: H7: Morimoto Elite HID System - HID Systems from The Retrofit Source Inc

These guys sell the highest quality after market kits. They come with a five year warranty.

You can get some cheaper lights on ebay etc. but I say don't. To install these kits you have to remove the entire headlight assemblies (drivers side and passenger). They are very fiddly and a pain in the butt to reinstall correctly. Believe me, you only want to have to do this procedure once. Cheap lights that fail and have to be replaced are a huge hassle.

Purchase the H7: Morimoto Elite HID System from them. You want the Morimoto 3Five DSP ballasts, Canbus H7 harness and the H7 35 4300K bulbs. This will give you xenon low-beam lights that will have the same throw, brightness and color temperature as the BMW factory xenon lights. (4300K is the color temperature of all the high end German manufacturer xenon lights. If you go higher, like 5000K or 6000K the light become more blueish/ purplish and you'll make your BMW look cheap and ricey like some kid's old Honda Prelude with glaring blue tinted halogen bulbs.)

I put these same lights in my 2008 528i two years ago. They work great. No problems, no error codes, no flickering, and the lllumination down the road is about three times greater than the stock factory halogens. I highly recommend them.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to put HID light in your high beams as our cars have reflector headlights for the high beam and HID in reflectors are a no-no.

Good luck.

First time here and saw this thread and wondering on that link above to the Morimoto product, I have the standard halogen without projector lights, the ones above don't come with projector housing it appears so any you can recommend that I could swap out the factory housing for some that come complete with the projectors ? This might be a noob question but how would a car that came with standard halogens be able to use the product without projectors?
