Just curious as to your thoughts on a fair price for a well loaded brand new 2010 550i with M sport package. Sticker price is about $70K. I recently bought a 2008 550i and like it so much that I am thinking of stepping up to a new one. With the 2011s already out, I would think any leftovers would be deeply discounted. Appreciate thoughts. Thanks guys.

My dealer knocked 16% ($9k) off of my $58k 2010 535i 5 months ago. If your dealer gives you the same percentage savings, you should be able to get it for about $59k. With it being so much later in the model year, you may be able to get an even bigger percentage off.

curious what you paid for the 2008? i don't think there is a huge difference between 2008 and 2010 models, right?

just kind of seems like a waste of money to go to a 2010 at this juncture.

My dealer had one on the floor a couple of months ago with a $5,000 off sign. It sat there for a while, not sure what they eventually got for it but the $9k off sounds reasonable if not more...

Thanks for the input. The dealership has just one leftover but it does not have the options I want. He knocked 10K off the sticker price. I am one of the few that flat out prefers the e60 over the new 5 series so the 2011 is not in consideration. If anyone knows of a 2010 leftover black with all options, automatic trans, please let me know. Thanks again.

Your not alone, im one of these too. Dude my honest truth I would keep the '08, I mean theres isnt any difference between and 08 and a '10, there's both LCI. With that said if you really want a change, i would get an '08 ///M5.
