2010 535i ..should I buy it ?...
Good afternoon Gentlemen , wanted everyone’s opinion and insight on my new idea , I currently ride a 06 750i 90k on the dash and have found a dealer who will pay off my car for what I owe in turn I would purchase a 2010 535xi with 65k on it hey tells me that it comes with a 2 year or 24k mile warranty total price 27k out the door .. now my apprehention comes in as I have never purchased a car with more than 40k on it .. I love the e60 look and hear they are pretty solid with that said anyone please feel free to post your 2 cents I appreciate all comments

Not a bad deal, the biggest worry with the 535 are the High pressure fuel pump issues. However, those are covered by BMW directly for 100k miles as I recall. Other than that I don't know of any major quirks on the 535 that would make it very unreliable compared to your current 750.

That mileage w/o sports pkg, no logic 7, might not be worth the $27k, I'd get them down to at LEAST $27k out the door price. Near me there is a 2010 535 with 53k, with Premium, NAV, M-sport, PDC, logic 7 and SAT for $30k - that car is LOADED and that can probably be negotiated lower.

Hello, I would only own a 535 under warranty. Those motors are turbo, and can have additional maintenance issues than the 525/528/530s, such as problems with the turbos needing replaced/rebuilt as well as carbon building up within the engine and requiring walnut shell blasting. Also you have problems with the fuel pumps as mentioned above. 535s are amazing to drive, and own new or CPO, but IMO seem expensive to consider owning out of warranty.
Anyway, please post some pics of whatever new BMW you decide on. Good luck and/or happy hunting.
